CLUB AUTOSLALOM & SCHOOL - BATHURST EDITION II

New Brunswick Sporting Car Club (NBSCC) will be hosting an autoslalom school and club event on Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th at the K.C. Irving Regional Center in Bathurst, NB.

This event is open to anybody with a valid drivers license, a car with tight suspension components, having good brakes, able to meet a 96db sound level, and a battery that is tied down solid. The event cost is $20 for the school and $30 for Sundays event which includes membership to an ASN club affiliate. PCA, BMWCC, and SCCA memberships will also be accepted.

We will be having experienced and new drivers in each run group. This will help the new competitors better understand the event. Please note: Course working is mandatory for anyone participating in the event. All persons inside roped off area must sign waiver. Spectators can watch for free! Paddock areas must be left cleaner than when found. A speed limit of 20Km/h will be enforced at pre-grid and course exit. Helmets must meet ASN Canada FIA AutoSlalom specifications (Snell 2005 and better) and loaners will be available. Magnetic car numbers up to #30 will also be loaned out.

Pre registration can be done here until Jul 5th and money can be paid at event (We are just looking for participation numbers to help with planning)

2017 Season is getting underway

The first regional autoslalom is just over a month away! NBSCC will be holding the event at Long Wharf in Saint John.

When: Sunday, June 4th
Where: Long Wharf, Saint John

Schedule:
Registration: 9:00am
Scrutineering: 9:00am
Driver’s Meeting: 10:30am
11:00: Run Group #1 competes / Run Group #3 works
1:00: Run Group #2 competes / Run Group #1 works
3:00: Run Group #3 competes / Run Group #2 works
5:00pm Event complete and site cleaned up

Fees: $40

You can pre-register here (until May 31st) or register at the event. 

You must be a member of an ASN Canada affiliated club. If you are a new member (or haven't been a member in the past few years) your membership will be only $10 (which is 1/2 price). A membership renewal is $20. You can apply for membership at registration. You will need a suitable vehicle to participate. If it can pass an MVI, then it should be suitable. You will also need a Snell M2010/SA2010 or newer helmet. If you don’t have helmet, the club has loaner helmets you can borrow. Any loose items inside the car should be removed.
